About the Card
Watercolour sunflowers fill the design in a scattered repeat pattern, some standing alone and some with leaves, alongside buzzing bees, sweet ladybugs and a blushing bride flower tucked throughout. The ladybugs add little pops of red that sit beautifully against the bright yellows and greens, and the whole design has a warmth and joy that feels like a birthday should. At the centre, "Happy Birthday" is hand lettered in a warm brown script.
This one started with a friend who loves sunflowers. There were years when sunflowers weren't available for her birthday, so the next best thing was putting them on the card itself. The result became the best selling card in the range, and it is easy to see why.
A birthday card that feels like receiving sunflowers, without the worry of whether they are in season.
