The flannel flower is one of our loveliest east coast natives, with velvety white petals that bloom through the warmer months, a flower I often stumble upon during bush walks. Here they're painted into a festive pink bauble, finished with a green ribbon and a tiny beetle friend who's hitched a ride for Christmas. Painted in a soft, loose watercolour style, it's a gentle, pretty alternative to the usual red and green, and a lovely way to send Christmas wishes with a native touch.
